Datchet Sunday – IOM Match Racing !!

A quiet day at the Club yesterday, as a large number of our core members were up at Lincoln with their DF95s.

PH and HM indulged in some gentle informal IOM match races (quite breezy!) and results were declared by the Sailing Secretary as “pretty even”!!

Coffee drinking in the clubhouse afterwards was just as competitive, plus PH did some great diagnostic work on RJ’s IOM sheet settings!

Loncoln DF95 Flash Results – Datchet Members Do Well..!!

The club at Lincoln achieved a great turnout for the DF95s at the weekend.

Datchet members were there in good numbers, with super results. Two of the top three, three in the top ten, four in the top fifteen. Well done!!

Saturday – Ten Raters!

Tens today at Datchet.

It was windy and none of us really had small enough rigs or with us, note to self, put the baby rigs in the car if in doubt. Graham struggled and then found a rig in his Tardis, it is some 25 years old, different era! However lack of preparation meant it was not on the pace. Nic and I had a few races, but in these conditions races with two is not really sport.
Despite no result, I think all three of us enjoyed our day. After lunch it took awhile to put the Rigi away.

Tomorrow i think we will be on the north course which is just as well as the Waszps where every where on the park, so tomorrow with club racing as well it could be a mess on the South slip!
