Marbleheads on a Quieter Easter Sunday ….!!

Three of us defied our families to sail M’s today!

Graham had his new F6.2 out for the first time and showed great speed,  Jim borrowed my F6 and I sailed the Niou-Niou.

The wind varied from bottom to top of A rig with some pretty big swirls as it made its way around the clubhouse but we managed some very close racing even though Jim couldn’t get used to the length of the Marblehead fin when passing marks he quickly got to grips with the boat and came out eventual winner.

A great Easter Sunday morning.

Datchet Sunday – IOM Match Racing !!

A quiet day at the Club yesterday, as a large number of our core members were up at Lincoln with their DF95s.

PH and HM indulged in some gentle informal IOM match races (quite breezy!) and results were declared by the Sailing Secretary as “pretty even”!!

Coffee drinking in the clubhouse afterwards was just as competitive, plus PH did some great diagnostic work on RJ’s IOM sheet settings!
