Radio Sail the Year Round?? … The Winter Glove Problem ….!!

I was at a neighbourhood seasonal party for Australia Day … any excuse, I know…. The host is a keen 12 months a year fishing guy. I suddenly spotted these gloves in this entrance hall.

I must admit I have several bits of fishing kit masquerading as radio sailing kit. Super selection of 8-plat rigging lines… something to do with catfishing. Then there’s my super little folding rigging stool. Fishermen, for some reason that escapes me use radio controlled bait boats – check out their transmitter covers.

Everything always reasonably priced – there are so many more fishing fans around.

The point about these winter fishing gloves is that aside from being wind proof, water proof, well insulated etc – you will see that thumb and forefinger ends can be rolled back and clipped (plastic studs) out of the way for (fishing) jobs where you need manual dexterity and fingertip touch. Sounds a lot like using a radio transmitter to me….

Just off to the IOMs Open at Chipstead – ideal chance to try gloves like this !!±
