Datchet’s Craig and Nigel made the treck to Woodspring for the weekend – and did extremely well down there. It’ll have been blowing just as hard as it was for us at the Club, I imagine. Nigel got a couple of brilliant wins in the Viss and was right up there, but Craig sailed in a league of his own.

Nigel and Craig went North with Jim for the weekend and had a fantastically close weekend at West Lancs, …especially on the Sunday. They all made a lovely job of it!!
Take a look at that scoreline. Nigel and Craig took a 1,2….Most of us had to get the Tie Break rule explained to us AGAIN!!
The UK Marblehead Nationals were held over the weekend up in Staffordshire.
Datchet Radio Sailing fielded a strong team of four – Craig Richards, Nigel Barrow, Jim La Roche and Graham Hetem…. all sailing their F6’s.
The Saturday was rainy and light and only one race completed, but there was a very full race schedule on Sunday.
Craig took an outstanding victory and claimed the UK title!!
The PRO was using a double gated course, just as we saw at the One Metre Worlds. Interesting!!
It will have been a challenging weekend so a huge congratulations to Craig and to the whole team !!
