This morning, Datchet Radio Sailing has announced a “Premium Membership Tariff” priced at 10% above normal membership rates.

Premium Members will be allowed to cross the start line up to 5 seconds ahead of the start signal without being called “over the line”. This will only apply to Club Racing. Craig Richards and Nigel Barrow have agreed not to subscribe.

A spokesman for the Commodore said, “We see this as a chance to level up the playing field for normal club members, whilst simultaneously raising some money for the Worlds….”
