There was a large youth training event on at Datchet, (about three dozen ILCAs plus eager parents) launching off the north beach which would have made us feel squeezed.

Word from Club Management is that the divers have finished work on the valves. The water level stays stubbornly down. However, the contractors have now moved on to service the huge duct pipes that join the reservoir to the Thames. There was some kind of scandal about those in recent years – subsidence at nearby houses. Anyway – the net is that the water is still at this kind of in between level.
